Arch & SoleArch & Sole is a new small business founded by nurse and advanced footcare specialist Melva Flynn. The client came to me with the business concept, and asked me to come up with a business name as well as a logo and business card design.
I created the name Arch & Sole, obviously referring to parts of the foot, and also working as a kind of homophonous play on the phrase "heart and soul". The pictorial mark for the logo was a lot of fun to sketch, and I was really excited to see that my original design could not be found anywhere else. A clever yet identifiable combination, the heart and the foot shapes fit together seamlessly to represent the core of the company: footcare. In addition to the business card, I designed conceptual mockups a mobile web page where clients can easily book appointments online. |
